Youth Startup Journey (Project No. 2024-1-LT02-KA153-YOU-000241667) was an Erasmus+ training course co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union and coordinated by DARNOJE NGO in Kaunas, Lithuania. The training was held from 4–14 December 2025 and brought together 42 youth workers from eight European countries, including 27 participants with fewer opportunities, to strengthen competences in career guidance, youth employability, entrepreneurship, and inclusive youth work.
The Young Professional Development Society Cyprus (YPDSC) participated as a partner organization and is disseminating the project’s results through its networks in collaboration with its parent organization, YPDSN, and its Portugal branch, YPDSP. Together, the organizations are sharing the knowledge, tools, and good practices gained during the training with youth workers, educators, and young people across Cyprus, Portugal, and Nepal through workshops, mentoring, local outreach activities, and digital platforms.
The project equipped participants with practical non-formal education methods to support NEET youth and young people facing social or economic barriers in career planning, employability, and entrepreneurship. The project booklet developed during the training serves as a valuable resource for future Erasmus+ initiatives, capacity-building activities, and local youth programs. Through this dissemination, YPDSC, YPDSN, and YPDSP aim to extend the project’s impact by promoting international cooperation, social inclusion, youth employability, and entrepreneurial opportunities for young people.
